Doctoral Student Support Project (BOOST NAIS)
Urgent call for D1 students! (Deadline: July 29, 2025 (Wed.)15:00)
Supported by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) under the BOOST initiative for young researchers and doctoral students in national strategic areas, the University of Tokyo’s project “Advanced AI Talent Development to Lead the Next-Generation Intelligent Society (BOOST NAIS)” is open to all doctoral students (including those in 4-year doctoral programs) at the university.
We are now calling for approximately 4 project participants who entered in the doctoral programs in the fall of 2026.
- Applicants: Applicants for the doctoral programs starting in Fall 2026, including those in 4-year doctoral programs.
- Number of students to be admitted: Around 4 students
- Application period: July 13, 2026 (Mon.) to July 29, 2026 (Wed.) 15:00
