[Invitation to Join] May 12, Networking Lunch Event for IST Female Students and Researchers

To all female students and researchers affiliated with the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology or related departments,

We are pleased to invite female graduate students and researchers affiliated with the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology to a casual networking lunch event. Female undergraduate students affiliated with related departments are also invited.

Let’s get together and enjoy lunch while chatting freely with others in similar situations! Since the number of female students and researchers is still relatively small, this is a great opportunity to expand your network and connect with people you can talk to when you need help or advice.

Event Details of 2nd UTokyo IST Women’s Gathering

• Eligibility
  Female graduate students and researchers affiliated with the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology. Female undergraduate students affiliated with related departments.
• Venue
  We have changed the venue due to the high number of registrations.
  New Venue: Exhibition Room (展示室) (next to the restaurant "Matsumotro"), 2nd Floor, Faculty of Engineering Building 2, Hongo Campus
  Previous Venue: Small Meeting Room (小会議室), 1st Floor, Reppinkan Building, Hongo Campus
• Date & Time
  Monday, May 12, 12:15–13:00 (Informal chatting until 14:00; feel free to leave early)
• Lunch Registration Deadline
  Wednesday, May 8, 13:00
  Lunch box (bento) will be provided to participants.
  (If you do not need a lunch box, you are welcome to register and join after the deadline.)
• Program
  - Introduction to the Gender Equality Committee’s activities by the committee chair
  - Free conversation over lunch at tables
• Note
  If you feel unwell, please do not hesitate to cancel your participation, even at the last minute.
